Watered the tomatoes, peppers, asparagus bed, all the trees, porch pots, hanging baskets & Crape Myrtles.

Our grandson came to feed the cattle & to move the remaining stone wall blocks (so I can prep them for the new blackberry bed.

Took Dieter to the vet for his shot & pedicure early this morning.

Smoked the buckboard bacon. Battled with it due to the cool temps & north wind...

Continued removing the windows of the old greenhouse. It's slow progress.

Started raining after supper (we received 0.17").

Still raining this morning (3.92" thus far). We're thankful for every drop!!!

Sliced & vacuum packed the buckboard bacon. We got 16 - 12 oz. bags out of that batch (12.25 lbs.)

Watered porch pots & hanging baskets. Then sprayed the white flies on the 'Texas Stars' with neem oil & malathion (they're bad this year).

Started adding a 2nd course of stone to the wall around the new blackberry bed & the fire pit/coal maker area.

Burned the accumulated trash.

Picked up another load of cattle feed.

Seasoned up a big sirloin that I'll smoke for our suppers. Mrs. Ranch is making twice baked potatoes to go with it.

Cleaned & refilled the hummingbird feeders.

Ran to McCoys to get a replacement electrical outlet cover for wet locations as the one on the back porch broke last night.

Made 2 buttermilk pies, one for us & the other for our daughter's family.

Fed the cattle.

Did the maintenance & backup of my computer.

Put up the electric fence around half of the garden that includes corn and tomatoes. It has kept the coon, squirrels and rabbits out the last few years. Getting zucchini on a daily basis and made zucchini bread last night.

Watered the porch pots.

Grandson came to feed the cattle before heading up to the BBQ cook-off with his dad.

In Sugarland for the weekend, no rain. Got home, had .5 in the gauge. Lot of green tomatoes. Picking zucchini / cucumbers daily. Summer squash a few days away and next week potatoes and onions should be ready.

Mrs Ranch went to watch the scholarship awards ceremony to see how our granddaughter did.

Weeded the tomato & bell pepper beds, then started tying up the tomatoes again.

Our grandson came to feed the cattle for us.
