I wish we could say the same... Bone dry with 2"+ cracks everywhere here.

We are getting more today. I wish I could send some your way my friend...........
It FINALLY started raining about 0700 hrs., 3.84" thus far with very little runoff (it went straight down the cracks).
Went to town to pickup ranch fuel & some groceries.
Made a double batch of Buttermilk Ranch Dressing per our neighbor's request.

Took down & cleaned 7 of the hummingbird feeders before putting them away. I left 4 up as there are still 5 or 6 still here.

Brought up a bucket of potatoes & washed them for Mrs. Ranch. They are surprisingly still good after sitting through the summer heat.

Broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, brussel sprouts, carrots, lettuce, swiss chard, potatoes & onions (whenever they arrive). You still have time if you hustle.

Rained here last several hours. I don't know how much we have gotten. It doesn't stand long and none runs off......
Very gentle rain here (0.41" thus far).
Made toasted rice (with Picante sauce) to accompany our enchilada dinner tonight.

Has anyone used seed strips ? Carrot seeds and a few others are so small, it seems like a good idea. Looking on Facebook, it shows how to make them.
I've used them in the past, but they're expensive. Now I just buy the seed & trickle them out by hand.

Started planting yesterday morning but the high humidity did me in.Today it feels like Fall. I got everything planted.
