Ran to town to the bank, then hit the package store, pickup a few groceries, the perscriptions & filled up Mrs. Ranch's Jeep.

Got another coon (#6) this morning.

Fed our cattle & our daughter's animals as well.

Returned the last load of feed (moldy) & got a fresh load.

Fed our cattle & then our daughter's animals.

Deboned & seasoned up a big pork shoulder (9.9 lbs) with our Mexican rub, then I put it on the smoker for tonight's supper.

Harvested tomatoes & japs so Mrs. Ranch could make Pico De Gallo to go with our supper.

Watered the garden, front trees, crape myrtles, porch pots & hanging baskets.

Refilled the redbird feeders again. There are a lot of them here!!!

Made a birthday cake for our daughter.

Harvested some jalapenos for stuffing to go with our supper. I'm going with chopped up pulled pork & Mexican cheese this time.

Made 2 batches of our Mexican rub.

It started raining ~1630 hrs. (0.71" thus far).

Yesterday we received another 0.27" of rain, so I didn't do much of anything. I did manage to digitize 9 more albums of country western music & put them on a new MP3 player for our daughter.

Cleaned & refilled the hummingbird feeders.

Made a buttermilk pie for our desserts.

Watered the porch pots & baskets.

Sprayed the fire ant mounds in the backyard.

Digitize 4 more albums of country western music.

Cut the grass. I got halfway done & then the idler pulley on the tensioner arm froze up. Ran to town to pickup a replacement to effect the repair so I could finish. It couldn't happen a worst time as today was our first 100 degree day... 'Hotter-than-Hell Week' has officially arrived, all 14 days of it, LOL!!!

Watered the porch pots & hanging baskets. It's going to be another hot one...

Picked up another load of cattle feed.

Harvested more jalapenos, red bell peppers & late season tomatoes... some for us & some for our daughter's family.

Watered the porch pots & hanging baskets.

Stuffed the red bell peppers. They'll be vacuum packed for meals at a later date.

We decided to pull the caladiums up as they are going downhill quickly due to the heat. It's currently 101 degrees on the back porch, with a heat index of 120 degrees.
