Did the weekly shopping & topped off the fuel tank.

Mrs. Ranch is taking today off from her Christmas cookie baking, so I started a big batch Pryaniki (Russian spice cookies). The dough will rest overnight.

Nah, you didn't miss it, I didn't plant a fall garden at all this year. I do have some green onions in one of the planters in the greenhouse (along with radishes & cilantro) as an experiment.

I planted a few. A little spinach and mustard greens. The last two years freezing weather in January killed my onions and I replanted. I decided not this year if it happens.

Took Dieter to the vet for his monthly shot & to have a stye remove from his inner eye lid.

Made a pot of pinto beans.

Finished baking the pyraniki. They're pretty good, I'd do them again!!!

Watered everything in the greenhouse.

Wire wheeled the plant stands in preparation for an acid treatment.

Assist Mrs Ranch with her last batch of Christmas cookies (Italian Spumoni cookies).

Made vegetable/beef/barley soup out of the remaining sirloin roast.

Started applying the acid to the plant stands, then it started raining (0% chance). After the rain passed, I redid them & put them in the garage to dry.

Our granddaughter came down to pickup the Christmas cookies.

Raining again this morning (0.70" thus far). It's not going to be a pretty day, but at least we're catching some tank water.

Started another batch of 'pryaniki' cookies for tomorrow (different variety this time to see which ones we like better).

Started painting the plant stands & Dieter's water bowl stand.

Fed the cattle.
