I wish I had about 10 of them......But not on fire........LOL...The skies are smoky here today. 250 round bales on fire since yesterday. This is going on about a mile from us, hoping the wind changes direction.

Yep....smoke and smell from burning hay is bad.......Then add the smell of wetting it down doesn't help.....It’s a mess. They were all stacked up in covered barn. Now they are using heavy equipment to drag them out and unroll them in a field. They brought in turf irrigation equipment to help. Talk about a smelly mess.
That sounds good in this cool weather...........Made a big pot of cabbage & pork to use the last 2 heads from the garden.
Watered everything in the greenhouse.
Buttermilk pie.....one of my favorites.....Then again, I never met a pie I didn't like......Made bread.
Made 2 buttermilk pies, 1 for us & the other for our neighbors.
Fill the starter pots for the peppers. Then planted the bell peppers & the jalapeno seeds.
Put out 3 rolls of hay for the cattle.
Looking at mid 20's here. Have all plants moved into J's studio....Start the 'begining-of-the-month' chores.
Water everything in the greenhouse ahead of the incoming cold front (I don't plan on opening for a few days). Nighttime lows are suppose to be in the lower 20s & it's currently a comfortable 75 degrees.
Took the flags down due to forecasted winds (2 days of 20+MPH)
Harvested more broccoli & bunch of green onions.
