Had my first court date yesterday. Only thing that happened was me paying another 1000 a month. Tried to make me believe that her son is charging her 1000 a month to stay in his house while he is working out of state on a 5 year project.. Keep me in your prayers......It's a trying time.....

Went to grandson's 8th grade graduation (what a load of BS, IMO)... I wouldn't have went, but it was important to him...

Fed the cattle.

Puttered around the ranch the rest of the day.

Made a loaf of Italian bread.

Prepped pork chops that I'll put on the smoker for our suppers.

Vacuum packed the chicken breasts.

Watered the tomatoes, peppers, crape myrtles & the front trees.

Got home from Texas Tech graduation. Best speech I have ever heard, they didn’t have one! Saw the forecast for the week so I pulled the potatoes. Good return for what I planted. Picked first green beans and getting squash, cucumbers and zucchini on a daily basis.

It started raining again just after midnight (1.44" thus far). Lots of lightning & thunder...

Made a birthday cake for our granddaughter. It's hard to grasp that she's 18 now.

Clean the windows on the truck (inside/outside) & affixed the new license sticker.

Cut back the 'Texas Star' hibiscus yet again due to the white fly infestation.

Made a batch of 'Pyraniki' that we'll bake tomorrow.

Killed ants that moved into a planter, then replanted the basil.

Got 1.1 overnight and raining again.Started at dark thirty making bread and butters.Ended up with 19 pints. That should last me for a year. I found over the years less people ( that I know) do not care for them.I eat them with everything: straight out of the jar, sandwiches, hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken salad , potatoe salad etc. Keeping a close eye on the corn as they are close to being ready.
