Tomatoes are all getting there all at once. Squash, cream peas and cukes are tailing off. Okra is just getting started.

Yesterday was a busy day here. I made the pinto beans, smoked pork chops & worked on Mrs. Ranch's computer (it's still down), then harvested more tomatoes. It rained 0.44" around 2000 hrs with a lot of thunder & lightning...

Today I watered the porch pots & hanging baskets.

Roasted 2 pans of tomatoes.

Continued to work on Mrs. Ranch's computer. In the meantime I put her 'disk' in my computer & she visited someplace that infected her disk with malware (it hijacks her browser), so I had to deal with that...

Started raining here this morning (0.14" thus far).

Watered the porch pots & hanging baskets.

Continued working on Mrs. Ranch's computer... The replacement power supply is DOA, so I ordered another. Also got her disk issues square away so at least she can amuse herself using it in my computer while we await the delivery of the part.

Grandson whacked 3 more hogs last night!!! Kid's a killing machine!!!

Been up since 0200 hrs due to Dieter/weather... We've received 1.69" thus far, with lots of lightning/thunder.

Enlarged the opening on a new squirrel barrier for the redbird feeder. I'll paint it & install it when the rain stops.

Fed the cattle & since the daughter's family is on a camping vacation, I fed their dogs, cats, goats, chickens, ducks & the show steers.

Picked up another load of cattle feed, fueled up the truck & did the weekly shopping.

I fed our daughter's dogs, cats, goats, chickens, ducks & the show steers. Brought home 19 fresh eggs!!!

Harvested another bucket of tomatoes (I'll roast these tomorrow). Getting close to using the tubs, LOL!!!

Watered the porch pots/hanging baskets.

Refilled the redbird feeders. Also bait/set the coon trap under them, as we are being 'visited'.

And we would gladly accept!!! We're getting just enough for the grass, but no runoff for the tanks... I saw the 1st spoonbill today, always a bad sign.

Fed our cattle & then fed our daughter's dogs, cats, goats, chickens, ducks & the show steers. They got home around 1200 hrs.

Dispatched a coon & cleaned the trap. I have to do some repairs before resetting it.

Roasted 2 pans of tomatoes. Mrs. Ranch told me to make spaghetti sauce out of them tomorrow.

R&R the batteries in Dieters E-collar.

It's fixing to rain here... Ended up with another 0.53".

Picked up salt & mineral blocks for the cattle.

Fed the cattle.

Made a twisted wire hanger for the frontyard feeder's seed block & installed 2 spring clamps to keep the coons at bay.

Raised the squirrel barrier another 5" on the backyard redbird feeding station.

Watered the porch pots & baskets.

Made another double batch of spaghetti sauce per request.

Watered the garden, Crape Myrtles, porch pots & hanging baskets.

Pulled the buckboard bacon from the curing brine & rinsed it off before soaking it in fresh water. Afterwards, I trussed them up with butcher string & put them in back in the frig at the guesthouse. tomorrow, I'll season them up & smoke them on Saturday.

Smoked the buckboard bacon for 5 hrs. The kitchen smells wonderful (almost as good as homemade bread)!!!

Fed the cattle & put out mineral & sulphur blocks (2 ea.).

Cleaned & refilled the bird's water trough.

Watered the porch pots & hanging baskets.

Received the camo seat covers for the Defender & started installing them.

Sliced & vacuum packed the buckboard bacon. We got 14 - 12 oz bags in the freezer now.

Installed the new power supply in Mrs. Ranch's computer. Also installed her new HD monitor that arrived today. Then packed up the Amazon returns.

Continued installing the Defender's seat covers in my free time.

We had a brief rain shower this afternoon, just enough to raise the humidity...

A longtime neighbor & his son stopped by to give us a sign, which I promptly installed on the front gate. We got some great neighbors, LOL!!!
